Once the student gets an admission letter from a Malaysian University, they need to apply for a student pass at the Malaysian Immigration Department in Malaysia. But Universities will help you in this process.
After all clearances, the Malaysian Immigration Department will release A letter of approval to the University and then only the student will be eligible to study. Then the educational institute will send an approval to the student prior coming to Malaysia.
The educational institute's representative will receive the student at the Malaysian airport. A visa will be issued to them.
Within 2 weeks, the educational institute will submit student’s passport to the Immigration Department. They will affix the Student Pass sticker. The whole process may take about 6 to 8 weeks.
